The brilliant Ben Conrad had a wild idea for the Spring Breakers opening titles and I was luckily enough to help him bring it to life. The idea was to mix the various ingredients of the movie into paradoxical and over-exaggerated pop-culture injection. Girls on ponies… machine-guns… killer jet skis… flying bullets… tattoos… all set against a vibrant pink sunset.
